Training Props

An interesting post on the bulletin board is prompting me to once again ask for your help.

Scott has asked for ideas on building training props and ideas that can be used to enhance the training experience.

Great idea I thought and I am very angry I didn't think of it!

Let's all pool together and each submit an idea where we can share these training prop ideas. use the form below or the feedback form button, to describe what the prop is used for and how to construct it and we will post it on the Bulletin Board Page so everyone can benefit.

Simple basic idea:

How do you train firefighters in blackout conditions?

Roscoe smoke machine, theatrical smoke, use wax paper crushed up in the facemask, turn the nomex hood around and wear it backwards?.... and many others.

What simple ideas do you use for live fire training, SCBA training, etc., etc.
